Sutter Buttes Brewery Gives Mom and Dad a Break

A great little place in Yuba City, California near the foot of the smallest inland mountain range in the world, lies Sutter Buttes Brewing.

This tiny little eatery, microbrewery, and taproom with just a few tables but a lot of great beer and good eats, is a locals’ favorite and offers some great and unusual beer along with Raspberry Hard Cider.

Locals and visitors alike, flock in to nosh on tacos, sandwiches, salads, burgers, wraps, and paninis that compliment several excellent brews.

Sutter Buttes Brewing is known for their Stout, Kolsch, Beale’s Best, Sutter Wheat, and Annie Brown Extra Pale, among others—all hand crafted and served right from the tanks. Happy hour is a truly happy deal with pints only $3.50 from 5-7 p.m. nightly. The prices for food range from $2.50-7.50 and won't break the bank either.

It may be really small, but it's certainly big on taste, relaxed atmosphere, and friendly service. Located right off quaint and historic Plumas Street, it's the perfect location to stroll downtown Yuba City after enjoying a cold one.
